How a Road Trip Explains Fat Loss

If you were to drive from Florida to California, I bet it would be overwhelming. After all, you’re talking almost 3,000 miles and around 40 hours of driving.

That sounds exhausting, right?

However, going from Florida to Georgia? Well, that’s not so bad. And you do have to go through Georgia to get to California anyway.

But still… Georgia to California? Gosh, that’s a long ways.

Yet take a look at going from Georgia to Alabama. That’s not so bad, either. Very doable. That’s not too overwhelming at all. And yep, you’re right. You’ll have to go through Alabama to get to California anyway.

You can actually visualize these shorter steps. It’s not daunting. Challenging… yes, but not daunting.

These shorter steps get you to your final destination, too.

Why can’t you look at your own transformation that way?

For example, losing 20 pounds can be overwhelming. That’s a big challenge. But losing just 3 pounds? That’s doable.

Besides, to lose 20 pounds, you have to lose 3 pounds first anyway.

Something to think about, huh?
