2 fat loss hacks for busy people

Quick question for you… Why do scuba divers fall backwards into the water?

Because if they fell forwards they’d still be in the boat.

That’s horrible. You know what else is horrible? My heart breaking from the survey answers I’ve been reading.

The #1 issue we have when it comes to achieving our best health is….

… TIME. And because of this, we’re not achieving the best health possible. :(

fast years

So, I’m going to share some candid advice with you. These are 3 quick fat loss “hacks” for busy people like you and I…

#1 – Simplify Your Diet

Dare I say this… eat the same things every day. Yes, ideally it would be awesome to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables (blah, blah, blah). Yet you are in a “busy season”. We all have to adjust. And if that means you need to spend less time on figuring out your menu, that’s OK.

If it works, it works. Don’t worry about it being different every day!

#2 – To Get the Most Out of Your Exercise Program, Do This…

If you only have time to do half of your exercise program, then reduce the sets, don’t just do half of the workout. For instance, let’s say you have a program like this:

1A) Dumbbell Squat (8 reps)
1B) Dumbbell Chest Press (8 reps)
3 rounds, resting for 1 minute between rounds

2A) Dumbbell Row (10 reps per side)
2B) Stability Ball Leg Curl (10 reps)
3 rounds, resting for 1 minute between rounds

3A) Kettlebell or Dumbbell Swings (15 reps)
3B) Jumping Jacks (20 reps)
3C) Mountain Climbers (10 reps per side)
3 rounds, resting for 1 minute between rounds

Don’t just do all 3 sets of first 3-4 exercises, then call it a day. If you’re short on time, do 1-2 sets of ALL exercises instead of 3. You’ll burn more overall calories by hitting more muscle. It’s not as good as doing all 3 sets, but some is better than nothing.

#3 – If You Can Only Choose One When it Comes to Nutrition Or Exercise…

Choose nutrition. Busy week ahead? Don’t eat crap and then do two 15-minute workouts. Instead, take 30 minutes and create your food plan. What are your obstacles? How can you work around them? What about this office party? What’s your game plan?

These questions being answered are more important than getting in your workouts. #Truth.

Alright, time to hit the basketball court. 😉 More cool stuff to come.
